Ingram Village Hall Refurbishment

COMMA - Action with Communities in Rural England

East hill looking East

The Village hall has been very fortunate to obtain some of its refurbishment funding from Defra delivered on its behalf by ACRE through COMMA, the Community Aggregates Programme.

This funding which is only available to communities affected by aggregate workings, or transport,  combined with the grants from the Sustainable Development Fund will help us to achieve many of the improvements needed to make our village hall a warm, energy efficient and welcoming community resource.

The planned work must be completed before the end of March 2010, hence the hall will be closed for events and public use between Jan and March 2010.

If you are interested in the management and development of the village hall you may be interested in this Report on community buildings produced by ACRE.
